Daughter uninvited to friend's birthday party due to her epilepsy?

Being a parent is the hardest but also most rewarding jobs a person has. I think you are doing the right thing by letting her think you forgot the plans at grandma's. I know it is hard on you but it will be harder for her to know the real truth at this point. I am one that always says be honest with your child but in this case I think that would be way worse on her. The other parent is just off the chart and needs extra education and a reality check.
