Why do conservative republicans always create a total economic disaster?

Republican economic theories are designed to help the rich get richer. Their policies are actually a rationalization and a smokescreen for the furtherance of their greed. Take for example the idea that tax cuts for the rich would result in job creation. The rich got their tax cuts, but job creation hasn't happened.
