Is my cat Obsessive Compulsive.. or just super affectionate?

In the 61 + years felines have owned me I had one beautiful Tortoiseshell that sadly had to go on her next journey last year after 18 wonderful years with me. I know how you feel about the constant human grooming as Samantha was one of those who just had to lick you for what seem forever and to top it off she had one of the courses sandpaper tongues on the planet. I referred to her as giving me sandpaper kisses. I finally just gave into to her nightly ritual a ew years b/4 her massive stroke and decided that she was actually doing both my arms a service by exfoliating them. So your lovely isn't all that odd (and cats do not have the capability of doing ocd just not in their mind set) like many other felines they just have odd quirks such as my 16 year old girl Cheyenne, since having to let Samantha go on her next journey she at first did look and call for her but now has a new quirk, she starts to meow then it turns into a plaintive deep meow as she is standing in front of her water dish, then taps the water with her paw,stops meowing and then drinks her water. I have no clue as to why but ya just gotta love 'em.
