Why religious people believe science is trying to fight against them?

science isn't people who misinterpret facts to fit there own ends science again is merely the study of whats around us facts and raw data now when you take that data and try to make it say something it does not it ceases to be science and turns into philosophy and then they still attempt to be present it as fact that's the problem
